| Description | As a preventive measure internet and wired connections were shut down in the Shikrapur and Lonikalbhor Police Station limits in light of the 202nd Anniversary of the Anglo-Maratha Battle of Koregaon on 1st of January 2020. Services were shutdown to prevent any violent clashes among the crowd of approximately 8 Lakh people which had gathered at Koregoan Bhima to commemorate the battle. In 2018, the same event had led to violent riots which led to the death of one person and injury to several others |
